Your WiFi Details

Your WiFi network name and password can be found in the checkin instructions for the property. If you can't locate it, just WhatsApp us and we'll send them straight over.

Before you start — check the wall switches

Near the kitchen you will find a panel of switches on the wall. Before using the hob or oven, please ensure the relevant switches are turned on — if the hob or oven isn't responding, this is the first thing to check. The switches control power to the appliances, so they must be on for everything to work.

Gas Hob

1. Press and hold the knob for the ring you want — this releases the gas safety lock.
2. While holding, turn the knob to your desired flame level.
3. The ignition will spark automatically and light the burner.
4. Adjust the knob to control the flame. When finished, turn fully back to the off position.

Oven

1. Ensure the Oven switch on the wall panel is on.
2. Use the left knob to select your cooking function — turn it from the 0 position to your desired mode.
3. Use the right knob to set your temperature (markings go from 130°C up to 230°C+).
4. Allow 10–15 minutes to preheat before placing food inside.
5. When finished, return both knobs to zero and switch off at the wall panel.

Controlling the heating

1. Rotate the outer ring clockwise to increase, or anti-clockwise to decrease the target temperature.
2. The display shows the current room temperature and your chosen target temperature.
3. To turn the heating off, simply rotate the ring anti-clockwise until the temperature is turned all the way down.

Making a coffee

1. Fill the water tank at the back with fresh water if needed.
2. Place a cup under the spout and switch on using the button on the side.
3. Wait for the light to stop blinking — the machine is ready when it glows steady.
4. Lift the lever on top and insert a Nespresso capsule.
5. Close the lever firmly and press the button — short press for Espresso, long press for Lungo.
6. Lift the lever to eject the used capsule into the container below.

Hisense 6kg Inverter

1. Load clothes into the drum — do not overfill past the door seal.
2. Add detergent to the drawer in the top left of the machine.
3. Turn the dial to your programme — Cotton works for most everyday items, Eco 40-60 is the most energy efficient, Quick 15' for a fast refresh wash.
4. Use the Temp and Spin buttons on the right to adjust if needed.
5. Press Start/Pause to begin.
6. When finished, leave the door slightly open to air out the drum.

Smart TV

The TV is a Smart TV already connected to the internet. Use the built-in apps such as Netflix, YouTube, BBC iPlayer and more — all accessible from the home screen with your remote.

General Waste

• The waste bin is located under the kitchen cupboard.
• Spare bin bags are provided under the sink.
• The communal bin room is on the ground floor, opposite the main building entrance.

Parking

Street parking is available on East Street. For longer stays we recommend using a parking app — RingGo or JustPark tend to offer better rates than paying at the meter.

In case of fire

• Leave the property immediately and close doors behind you.
• Call 999 as soon as you are safe.
• Assembly point is outside the main building entrance.
